Idoru

Idoru pronounced as i-door-ru means Idol in the Japanese. It is be no means Japanese English, but a direct translation of the latter. Japanese English, unlike other 'native' English, usually do not make sense. It is made to sound rhythmical only. An example goes like this, "Metal Fake Experimental Model", which translates as new metal which in the experimental state.

Japanese idols are taking the world by storm, especially among the Asian countries. What makes these idols superior than their counterparts in other countries? It is not the Japanese culture that is of particular fascinating, neither is the country being more technologically advance. Packaging is one strong reason why things made in Japan are so popular. Japanese are not particularly creative people, but they pay a lot of attention to details. Details as in greeting among people down to the wrapping of presents show the attention they pay towards people and thing.

My section on idoru will present to you some of the idols in Japan whom I like. Henceforth my review will definately be biased. I urge fervently for your understanding. Afterall, this is my personal page. Right?

I sincerely hope that I can review as many artise as possible, acknowledging that I am doing this in my leisure. Whether you are a fan of Japanese idol (like me) or wanting to find out more of them, this is the place for you. Enjoy!
