haha.. The origins of this song is as crappy as the lyrics (wanted to say funny, but not sure if the lyrics are funny).

One day after dinner, a gal by the name of Regina came to know about my compositions & found it nice to have a song after her name. She of course asked me if I can write a song for her. I had initially said no, coz all my works have been written with romance in mind, & well, there was nothing romantic going on between us. So of course there's no inspiration to draw from.
But this song features a few firsts.

• My first try at writing a song for someone (& by request), tho not exactly that custom-made.
• My first try at writing something original that's not Christian or romance-inspired.
• My first attempt at penning something funny(crappy), with a bit more poetry. 0:-P
• My first 'story-telling' song.

Well, my 'client' likes it. hehe...
This song ain't fully original tho. Coz I based the tune upon an old old oldie.
Not sure of the title of the oldie, but I know the chinese version goes "Venice, oh Venice" in the chorus.
If anyone knows the title, pls do let me know. Thanx.

hehe.. & yes, I was pretty interested in Initial D at the time of writing this song. 0:-P
