18th July 1978! So I've just hit the big 20. 2 decades! Argh! Makes me FEEL old just thinking about it. Anyway, I'm also a Cancerian, a typical one at that. What??!! You don't know what a typical Cancerian is like? Shame on you! Go check it out now!
Pearl's Hill Primary School and Tanjong Katong Girls' School! The former was my primary school where 6 years of my life was dedicated there. It was the only primary school in Singapore (I'm not so sure about now) that has an elevator in it! Why? 'Coz the school building is 12 storeys tall! Some of my classrooms used to be located right at the 10th storey, so imagine our faces when the life broke down! My secondary school, TKGS, was where I found my bunch of absolutely nutty girl friends! We did some of the craziest things in school and outside, had always had so much fun. Ahh..... if only we can turn back the clock!
Coffee Drinker! I just luvvvvess the coffee at Coffee Club and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf! Of course, I don't mind the teh-tariks at the neighbourhood kopi-tiams too!
IRC! Internet Relay Chat, that is. Many of my friends are made through IRC! My nick in IRC (the galaxynet servers) is usually 'Egg' or 'Paws'. You'll find me in channels such as #netgaming, #1978, #phuture, #madness, #seattlecafe, #ngeeann, and #starbucks. We often hang out together, either for a show or our 'din din' outings!
Reading is one of my greatest pleasures! I've graduated from Enid Blyton, Carolyn Keene (author of the Nancy Drew series), Roald Dahl to David Eddings, Piers Anthony, and Raymond E. Feist. The latter 3 are wonderful fantasy novels writers whose tales can hold me spellbound for hours and hours. Of course, I do indulge romance books, especially those by Judith McNaught. I also read the occasional John Grisham novels.
Although I seriously doubt I can calmly face Godzilla with just my CDs! My current favourite music is RETRO! Actually my love for retro music dates way back to the 80s, when I was just a primary school kid. I was a loyal fan of the American Top 40s back then. Rick Astley, Bananarama, Johnny Hates Jazz, Belinda Carlisle ruled my taste in music. It was after my recent trips to Chaplins and Mambo that sparked off my interest again. However, I also enjoy listening to Chinese and Cantonese Pop.
Well, I'm now a current student at the Marketing Institute of Singapore, struggling through a bachelor course in Commerce (major Marketing). Sighz!~ No one said study is easy! Before that, I was a Tourism Management student from Temasek Polytechnic. And NO! My secret ambition is NOT a TOUR GUIDE! (Geez! You can't imagine the number of times I get this question! : P)
