Upcoming Events Sometimes, I am unable to update this page regularly, so you may wish to visit these sites for up-to-date information. Disabled People's Association Singapore (DPA) has a comprehensive site, which lists down services, statistics and upcoming events for persons with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, as well as information on assistance schemes for individuals and families. It also archives news articles on disability issues. WeCAN is the training division of ARC(S). It organises international conferences and workshops in autism intervention and support regularly. The Dyslexia Association of Singapore organises workshops and seminars during the school holidays. If
you would like to list your organisation's events, please email
the relevant information. At times, I may be able to put up a
small brochure/flyer (simple layout). Please email it in Word
format (orientation of page: portrait).

The workshop is designed to introduce educators and teachers to Supporting Children with special needs Upon Being Included (SCUBI). The teacher/educator will learn about different aspects of special needs that would lead to a greater understanding of the behaviour and the intervention program required. It will help to facilitiate early identification and referral for children with severe difficulties to other centres/schools.
