Rolling Stars Of Pluto
Rolling Stars Of Pluto
Spinning axles
and warped passages,
There stands a dizzy spell
and I don't really feel
very well
The million fragments
of the magnificent stars
are coming back to me
The bits and pieces
of cosmic pebbles
floating and propelled
with misty astro-dust
As loggers of the
sparkling nite
There stands a messy realm
and I don't really feel
very well
Revolving, these trailing
moons of my ponderous life
Lies in an obscure satellite
rolling in a life of it's own
and mimics a genie enticing
me with just one wish
To blast away in a single
ship over clouds of speeding
comets
Or to leave a life for
the beautiful rocks that
gasp for air,
and embarking aimlessly
to find after-glowers
of the ancient lights
So flick your cosmic wand,
and grant me a wish for you
For I wish the last of me
away into the flurry of
the vast vacuum
There stands a dizzy incantation
as I slowly fall to sleep
I don't feel very well.
