Silver Arowana - come from the South-America and it is quite similar to the Black Arowana having the same tapered tail . Its scales and fins are silver . It is not a protected species . There are Red-tail Silver Arowana !

-Silver Arowana - is the most common Arowana you can find easily in most aquaria .This species was the first one
known among the members of the family Osteoglossidae . Like the Black Arowana , it originated from South America and it has the same long tapered tail but it is totally silver in color . Silver Arowana can grow to about 47" inches which is the longest Arowana of all . It is not a protected species and can easily be bought . The Silver Arowana is said to have a very large appetite .
