Ice Climbing

Alpine climbing refers to climbing done in regions above the tree-line, areas where the temperatures are such little if any vegetation can survive. They are characterised as barren, rocky and icy places. These mountainous regions offer outdoor challenges which range from a enjoyable snow walk to extreme risk and deprivation on the technical routes on the world's highest mountains.
