Just when you thought that life would be better when the IRAQ war is over. Then here comes the dreadful SARS. With it comes economic gloom - retrenchment and unemployment loom!

So what is our response to life?

Remember Jeremiah 9:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Here is something for you to ponder - the fact of life!

Then there is this article entitled "Life in the Manure Pile" from Daily Wisdom, Gospel Net. Go on, read it. This is what the author, Marsha Jordan concluded...

We may wonder why God allows the manure to pile up in our lives, but I'm sure it's no accident or surprise to Him. It couldn't happen without His approval. The good news is that we don't have to climb that manure mountain alone. Yes, trouble comes into every life, but we have a source of strength to uphold and guide us; and we have hope, the essential ingredient for making it through the dung heap.
