BazGym was founded by passionate ex-National gymnasts of Singapore and parents of gymnasts. They have experienced the benefits this sport brings to young children, which develops into a lifetime desire for physical fitness thus leading to a healthy and fulfilling life.

Our Beliefs

We believe that movement education is the foundation to all forms of physical activities. Children who have been through structured movement program tend to grow up street-smarter than those who did not.

Studies of how young children learn have proven that they especially acquire knowledge experientially through play, experimentation, exploration, and discovery. Within the last 10 years, there has been a great deal of research done on the topic that children acquire knowledge using different “modalities” (or senses). The four modalities are visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic. Thus, omission of gross motor instruction as part of the child’s education may be especially devastating to children who are predominately kinesthetic learners.

 As such, we have specially designed movement programs to cater for children of age 2-7years old. This is a critical age where they develop fundamental motor patterns. Students who acquired fundamental movement skills are encouraged to enroll into our fun-filled gymnastics programs to pursue their interest in this unique sport.

Location

BazGym is fully equipped with men’s and women’s Artistic Gymnastics facilities. Special focus is being placed on nurturing kindergarten and pre-school children.
