Almost all of us go through life looking for that someone special..that someone to hold us and hug us when we're afraid, someone we share our joys and pains with...someone who chooses to stay by your side no matter how difficult the situation gets when it would have been so easy for them to walk away. I'm talking about the one thing in the world no amount of money can buy....I'm talking about LOVE.

My fiance has been that someone...that someone I'd always hoped I'd meet. He's been there for me even in my darkest moments of despair and pain. Yet there are times in life when through our own folly and pride we almost let precious people who truly love us slip through our fingers and having nearly lost them, we treasure them all the more. I found love in efrem...he'll forever be that special person in my heart. To everybody reading this.....LOVE IS ALL THAT MATTERS......

The following is a poem written by my friend Alisa. Both she and I have been battling an illness few would understand. We've been through many struggles on our own but many a time we've also been a pillar of support for each other...and most of all we've been a friend to each other. Memories

Some are haunting,

some you strive to remember,

some are those you crave for--

to live again; to have again,

to go back in time.

But gone are these memories,

washed and blown afar,

as far as the wide ocean,

like a leaf on the wings of the wind.

Away, far away,

what is meant to be lost.

Never to come back,

Never to be relived.
