We spent a total of 12
hours at the photo studio to get these shots right. We posed outdoors (at
Labrador Park) but spent most of the hours indoors. A total of five
outfits & hairdos for the myself (the bride) while Jit (the groom)
stepped into 3 suits. This picture is one of my favourite. Both were
natural and looked blissful.

Jit's personal favourite. His
smile was bright and I looked really demure (what he'd always wanted). The
white gown though simple looked elegant. With extra padding & the
can-can hidden beneath, I seemingly attained that perfect figure. This
picture was later blown up to a 24" by 30" portrait.

Jit's new haircut made him
look very young. He never had it styled this way before. This yellow
background brought out the sunninest in us - we are both very happy
people. Not because we were getting married then but we are generally two
easily contented beings. The studio crew were so impressed by our easy
going manner that they gave us a few extra shots.

This was the only set of
costumes we tried. There were several others...western, Japanese. But we
decided to give them a miss. Had specifically told the ever obliging
choreographer to get Jit this suit as the original was a bright blue &
red, two piece, clownish looking thing. He looked really smart in this all
black suit. The 'kua' which I wore was a perfect fit and the red stood out
against his black.

The Usual pose for a married
couple. Many years down the road I will look back at these pictures with
the fondest memories. It captured one of the most important chapter of our
lives and the smiles within these photos encourages us to live each day by
the vows we had made.
