Day 2 - 28th December 2000
We started off from kak Ram's place. Here is Saufi...(nickname) all ready to pester all his siblings to get ready for the "Collection" for the day..........

Within Half-an-hour we're already in Hougang at Kak Ani's place. Great Food!!!! again.

Identify siblings by ther coordinated clothes.....

A usual....everyone.....would be sitting around(adults) and kids running around. Guess who is the "person" zooming across the photo here...??? Clue....she is responding to her dad's call.... An hour or two would be the ideal length of stay usually in one "visiting session" the picture here shows everyone "Bersalam-salaman"....shaking each others hands and ask for forgiveness in this great Syawal-Eid celebration.....

AND!!!!! Kids normally would look up to aunties and uncles for "Duit Collection"........some money in the packets.......(too bad i'm too old for that)

Next.....house......within 20 minutes....we're already in Tampines.....visiting my wife's family..

Again...Lot'sa kids..!!! They really enjoy meeting there "peers" although some aren't old enough to talk yet....but....kids really have their ways....to communicate.....

Tick!!...Tick!!..Tick!!!...and and hour later we're on the road again heading to another house........really requires....great tummy stamina.....since "Food & Goodies" exist in every home we visit.
The next house that we visited is a beautiful huge house near Opera Estate.......another relative of my wife....

In the photo on the right......you can see a "Buaian" (swing).....a kids ritual when they arrive in this house. This swing existed from the time my wife is still as young as those kids in the photo....Ans guess what she used to play on this swing just like them....

With kids now living in high rise flats and only limited to those Mcdonald's spring type swing......this traditional swing is still a hot favourite.........!!!

It feels great......FREEDOM!!! to get a chance to be on this antique swing...Don't they look happy!!

Finally........a group photo of the family again with the host. Nice photo isn't it?? Is only during these festive occations that photograph like these could be taken......with almost everyone present........

Next stop....Yishun. My wife's eldest brother's place......

The last stop for the day. Great to meet with my bother-in-law and his family......and again.....great food.....How about Nasi Lemak....at 10pm......surely fill my tummy for the day.

Well.....at the time this photo was taken my wrist-watch shows 10:50pm ...

After the photograph was taken, we all went separate ways .....each families heading for home after a great day of visiting and celebrating "Hari Raya Aidil Fitri".
