Goro Language School

The methodologies we use in our Chinese courses are as following:

1.     Tutorial teaching system

2.     Group studying (Mix up various level & ability students);

3.     Group studying and discussion (conducted by teacher)

The methodologies we use are effective because:

1.     The course is targeted at any student who should have strong discipline and serious attitude of study.

2.     Teacher can conduct the each student coaching according to each progress of the course more effectively as each student has different ability and personality and pace of learning.

3.     Students are more likely to be able to study in a Chinese language environment, which will enable them to practice Chinese more frequently and make greater progress.

4.     Teacher can spot out the troubles students meet in their Chinese studying and help them to overcome the difficulties.

5.     The course can become less boring and become more practical and interesting by positive attitude of study, not passive.

However, the course taught in this way is likely to be less effective if the students are lack of discipline or passive or not serious.

GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL TEACHING METHOD

in Japanese class

Courses at GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL are conducted at both Full Time and Part Time. Basically, Full Time course is 3 hours and Part Time course is 1.5 hours.

First half of the lesson will be tutorial teaching and the second half will be lecture Teaching.

Merits Points for GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL Teaching Style

There are many merits points for this system. Firstly, flexible time studying. Students can choose their own classes most convenient to their own schedule. Secondly, excellent track records. Many of our students pass Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 1, 2, 3, 4 every year. Thirdly, widely choices. We can tailor the most suitable course according to the studentfs requirement. (e.g. Business Japanese, JLPT, Translation, etc). Fourthly, individual teaching method. We teach student individually according to their abilities. (e.g. American who cannot read gKanjih), GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL will use different method from those who strong in gKanjih.

Demerits Points for GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL Teaching Style

Despite the above- mentioned merits, there is still a demerit about this system. Teaching times are limited base on the number of students in class, and also, it is not suitable for those who only want to learn some basic conversation in their daily life only passive attitude. In GORO LANGUAGE SCHOOL, we believe that grammar is a very essential element. Therefore we teach the grammar individually. By understanding grammar, student can gradually be able to speak and write general Japanese. Most of the students are still continue with the course and only few of them are dropped out from the course.

Our teaching styles are able to help those students who want to learn Japanese seriously.
