K. H. Tan, is the scion of Penang millionaire HH Tan. A self-confessed hedonist and perhaps the most eligible bachelor on this resort island, KH is a highly successful businessman in his own right and philanthrophist.

KH is also well known as a man with many interest and a patron of the arts. What is not generally known is that KH is also an accomplished blues musician who runs the blues club, "The Blue Tangerine", situated in the idyllic fishing village of Teluk Bahang, at the end of the beach hotel strip.

The club, an esoteric joint, is better known among blues aficionados, and university students, than the noveau riche who tends to frequent the discos and Karaoke lounges in the hotels. A more cerebral atmosphere pervades here.

Tango often turns up at his club and jams. His favorite instrument, a strat, although he is equally adept at a Blues Harp. At such times he would be in light disguise, usually headwear (his favorite, a cowboy hat) and shades. Although the Mouth's double life is well known among his close business associates, he still likes to make a nominal effort to separate his show biz image from his daytime "corporate" image.

The Blue Tangerine also offers recorded music during slack period when jammers are taking a breather. But so popular is the club that this is a rare occassion.

More recently Tango's alter ego, KH has been in the news in connection with the discovery of some documents, coincendentally related with music, in his grandfather's house.
