NEUTRA solid surface is an exciting new product created for a lifetime
of easy care. It requires minimal care, even on dark colours which are
more prone to show cuts and smudges. NEUTRA solid surface is also
resistant to stains, heat, moisture, impact and fading caused by exposure
to sunlight. Ordinary and stubborn stains are wiped away, even scratches
and cuts are easily removed.
Routine
Care
NEUTRA solid
surface comes in 3 types of finishes, i.e. satin, semi-gloss and high
gloss finish. NEUTRA sinks come in only satin finish.
Normal Cleaning
Soapy water will remove
most dirt and stains from the 3 types of finishes.
Stubborn
Stains
On satin finish,
use an abrasive cleanser and green Scotch-Brite* pad.
On semi-gloss
finish, use a white Scotch-Brite pad and slowly remove the stain.
On high gloss
finish, use only non-abrasive cleansers with a soft sponge or
cloth to remove stains. Finish it off with a white polishing compound.

Preventing
Damage
- Avoid cutting on
the surface. The use of a cutting board is recommended.
- Hot cookwave can
damage the surface. The use of a trivet or other insulating pad is recommended.
- Some products such
as acid or alkaline cleansers can mar or permanently discolour the surface
if allowed to remain for an extended period.
- Accidental spills
or splatter from harsh materials should be wiped off immediately and
then rinsed with water. Some examples of these items are toilet bowl
cleaners, rust removers and contact adhesive solvents.
Heat
NEUTRA
solid surface is highly heat resistant. However, frying pans and heat
generated appliances may damage the suraface if placed directly onto it.
Always use a hot pad or trivet equipped with rubber feet to protect the
NEUTRA surface from these appliances. It is advisable to run cold
water when pouring boiling water into NEUTRA solid surface sink.
Cuts
& Scratches
On satin finish,
scratches and cuts can be sanded away starting with 120 grit medium sandpaper
and following with 180 or 220 grit fine sandpaper until the cut is gone.
To restore the finish, use an abrasive cleanser and a green Scotch-Brite
pad.
On semi-gloss
finish, same procedures as on satin, but use a non-abrasive cleanser
with a white Scotch-Brite pad.
On high gloss
finish, minor scratches and stubborn stains can be buffed away
using white polishing compound and a low speed** polisher equipped with
a wool pad. Finish with a counter top wax.
** 1500-2000 rpm
NEUTRA solid
surfaces are completely renewable. Should the above damages occur, please
contact your NEUTRA agent.
