Design, supply, Installation and commissioning of a 2 litre hydrogenation Unit. This includes the high pressure and temperature autoclave constructed from 316L Stainless Steel. The control instrumentation allows for online monitoring of process variables such as temperature, pressure, stirrer speed, torque, system pH, etc.
We have previously installed process utility piping, vacuum systems, chemical and gas piping for companies such as Chartered Silicon Partners, ST Microelectronics, Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, TECH Semiconductors as well as many others.
This experience coupled with our close working relationship with our vendors such as Nor-Cal allow us to offer customised parts such as fittings and chambers at competitive prices for the end user.
This unit is in the new Chemistry section at the Singapore Science Centre. This unit consists of a 4m high glass fractional distillation column that is designed to be safe, highly educational and interactive.
This unit is currently being installed in the National University of Singapore. This unit is designed to demonstrate the theoretical principles of fluidised systems commonly used in industry.
This unit was built for an educational institution and consists of a reactor, condenser and receiving tanks, it also has a vacuum option and heating/cooling capabilities. An experiment to synthesize aspirin and test for purity was developed. The principles and instructions for operation were compiled in instructor and student manuals that were included with the unit.
This unit consists of 8 types of commonly used pumps (Centrifugal, Lobe, Piston, Internal/External Gear, etc) that are cut-away to display the internal mechanisms. It also includes several combinations of hoses (Smoothbore, corrugated, Anti-static, etc), external braiding (Stainless steel, polymeric braid) and different connections (flange, SMS, Kamlok, etc).
The relevant pumping principles and specifications are described in detail in the accompanying manual that is developed for teachers and student.
This unit contains nine different pumps, namely, Vane Pump, Centrifugal Pump, Screw Pump, Diaphragm Pump, Submersible Pump, Peristatic Pump, Metering Pump, Gear Pump and a Magnetic Seal Pump. It operates with hydraulic oil to demonstrate different pump behaviours, efficiencies and pump curves. The test rig can be operated either by a computer or manually from a local control panel.
This unit illustrates the principles of liquid extraction from either a lighter or heavier phase into the second phase by mass transfer through a sieve plate column.
