All Thule products are of the highest qaulity, and are in principle intended to have the same length of ecoomic life as your car.  For this reason we have extended the traditional twelve month manufacturer's warranty period and now offer you a 3-year international warranty.  Under its terms Industri AB Thule of S-330 33 Hillerstop, Sweden warrants all load carrier systems and accessories produced by Thule to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of the original retail purchase. 

This warranty is in favour of the original purchaser of the product in question, and applies to all Thule purchased after 1st October 1993.  Your receipt functions as your warranty document. 

Some countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential and incidental damages, or limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so that you may have other rights depending on which country you live in.  Our warranty in no way limits those rights.  On the other hand, however, our 3 year warranty may be limited in countries where the rules differ as to the length of time of warranty period is deemed to run. 

If, for any reason, you need to invokethe warranty, Thule will remedy any defects in materials or workmanship becoming apparent during the warranty period, by repairing or replacing any defective product or component (at our own option), free of charge to the purchaser in respect of replacement parts and labour.  Any defective product or component must be returned to Thule or your local Thule dealer immediately upon discovery of the defect alleged, and no attempt made to repair it.  You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the product or component.
