Chai Pheng has had more than 20 years of experience in teaching speech and drama as well as dance in various schools and institutions. For many years she has been a speech and performing arts teacher at Singapore Media Academy’s Little School for Big Dreamers as well as the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts and Cultural Troupe. She also lectures "Music and Rhythm" for CPT (Certificate in Pre-school Teaching) at ACCES and KLC. Chai Pheng was formally trained in dance in the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and furthered her studies in New York; she has developed a series of “Music and Rhythm” curriculum and teaching materials that has been well received by teachers in kindergartens and pre-schools. She is known for using music, dance and play in arts to develop children’s creativity and imagination as well as inspire their interest in Chinese language.
