From an early age, I was taught to honor the Lord Jesus in the way I dress. I learned that modesty of apparel was simply the reflection of an inward beauty of a heart submitted to God s will and ways.

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness (decency) and sobriety (sound-mindedness). . . " 1 Timothy 2:9

My Christian parents played an influential part in my life and instilled godly virtues that guided me throughout my teenage years. I was taught to regard purity as something very precious a responsibility and a treasure given to me by God to guard with all diligence.

Yet in our age and time, one of the greatest battles and challenge is to keep a pure thought life. Posters of indecent pictures, advertisements, and even the way people dress can provoke wrong thoughts in our minds if we are not careful to guard our minds against them. As the world declines in its morality and standards, our attitudes towards certain values change too. What might have seemed indecent 50 years ago is accepted as the norm today. We are slowly being desensitized and accustomed to shame.

However much the world has changed, God s principles remains the same. Still He lovingly bids us to greater heights of purity that would bring honor to His name.

For this reason, we at Personally Yours DO NOT accept photographs that have people dressed in a sensual way, such as wearing slit skirts, sleeveless tops, mid-rifts, low neck lines, or low backs. It is not our intention to offend any one but we are committed to godly principles of modest dressing. Our goal is to protect both young and old from lustful thoughts. We view our business as GOD S business and only want to please Him in all that we do.
