Package
OCBC Bank have designed their Renovation Loan package to meet
both your renovation and furnishing needs. It comes in two parts-
the first part is for your renovation works and the other for your furnishing
needs.
For your renovation
works, you will be given up to S$30,000 or six times your monthly
income, whichever is lower. The cheques will be made out in our name and given to you by
OCBC Bank to make the payments as and
when you desire. To qualify, you need a minimum annual income of
S$24,000.
For your furnishings, you will be given an
additional sum of up to S$50,000 or twice your monthly income,
whichever is lower. Use it freely to buy a new sofa or whatever
pleases you. To qualify, you need a minimum annual income of
S$30,000.
This means that you will receive a total of up to
S$80,000. Or up to S$160,000 if you and your spouse earn a monthly
income of at least S$2,500 each and apply separately.

You actually save
on interest as you will get to enjoy the same attractive
interest rate for both parts of your Renovation Loan. This
is unique as other banks usually offer a personal loan or credit
line for your furnishing needs at a much higher interest rate.
Easy Repayment
Scheme
You can choose from one to five
years to repay your loan. OCBC Bank's competitive interest rate is based on monthly rest which means that
each monthly instalment reduces your loan amount and interest
charges. Thus, you will get to enjoy greater savings.
For
your convenience, the monthly instalments will be debited directly
from your OCBC account on the first of every month.
Insurance Coverage
For as little as 1% of the loan amount, you will be
covered by a comprehensive insurance cover that protects you and
your family from being burdened should something unexpected happen.
In the unlikely event of permanent disability or death, the
compensation from the insurance policy will be used to pay any
outstanding loan amount.
