FluortressŪ PTFE Powders


Product Description

FluortressŪ PTFE powders is the tradename of the white, waxy particles of low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene made by DuPont for personal care use. These powders have physical and chemical properties which make them excellent for a variety of uses in cosmetic and personal care products. Notably, the FluortressŪ PTFE powders:

· exhibit outstanding lubricity and antistick or release properties.
· are very clean and nonmigrating, unlike silicones.
· are thermally and chemically stable, insoluble and nonflammable.
· can be used as thickening agents for oils and other lubricants to form gels.
