Smart Card Criteria
Choosing the type of smart card used is dependent on the kind and complexity of
applications. Also, other factors include if there is any long range plans. For
example, if there is any changes in the system, how should the company work into
changing those cards that that have been in place. Therefore, it may sometimes be
cost-effective to have a complex card that could be easily updated rather than a
simpler card that could be discarded when not needed.
Also, taking note of the Card Operating Systems as like any normal computer operating
system, it could offer general commands to complex functions.
