PAP COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Presented the objectives and methodology in implementing continuous improvement through suggestion scheme for the Boon Lay branch  management committee.

SINGAPORE CENTRAL PROVIDENT FUND (SCPF)

Organized a visit for Brunei IPA Senior executives. The purpose is to find out the success story in implementing Suggestion Scheme in CPF.

CIVIL SERVICE INSITUTE (CSI) Brunei       

Conducted a sharing of ideas management in the 21 century for the Institute of Civic Services customers.

Conducted four runs of 3- in- 1 Suggestion Scheme training workshop for IPA.

SINGAPORE TOTALISTIC BOARD 

Conducted a sharing session on National IQC assessing objectives and criteria for a group of 15 staff from the Singapore Totalistic Board

PSB Academy
Conducted the National Certificate in Supervision (NCS) for PSB. NCS consist of two parts, with a total is 120 hours. Part one focuses on managing people and part two on managing resources.

Civil Service Institute of Brunei
Conducted the continuous improvement through suggestion scheme for CSI of Brunei. The training include :

• SS committee training
• Facilitator training
• Member training
• 3 in 1 SS training

The Civil Service Institute (CSI) or better known locally as IPA , the acronym for its Malay equivalent, Institut Perkhidmatan Awam. IPA is the national training institution responsible for managing the training needs of its government departments and ministries. It is instrumental in designing and delivering short courses, and updating and implementing retraining programmes.


Hock Seng (ELM) Pte Ltd
Assisted Hock Seng to develop business enhancement through branding. It is part of Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING) initiative to assist the SME in their process of relocation.. This project also includes constructing its web site.

Hock Seng was founded in 1980. Like most SMEs, the company started with very humble beginnings, with deep traditional roots. From a modest wet market stall back in 1980, the owner believed in maintaining excellent quality in the production of his fish products. With a simple faith of wanting to bring the best to customers, faith in Hock Seng's quality fish products has thus earned its loyal list of clientele.


Zhong Zhong Fine Spice Supply Pte Ltd
Helped Zhong Zhong to trade marked their logo, with the support of IPOS (IPOS encourages enterprise to protect the intellectual property by trade marking their logo).

Zhong Zhong started its operation in 1942. It operates a small one-man operation stall at Tong Ji Hospital. To date, Zhong Zhong employed 20 staff and occupies 4,000 square feet at the current location.  The company’s staff are well trained and committed to produce the best food for your consumption .


Chng Kee Bean Cake Factory
Assisted Chng Kee to trade mark their company logo as well as exploring ways and means to enhance their business. As a result, a web site was constructed for this client .

Chng Kee Bean Cake factory started business as early as 1940, a traditional hand-made bean cakes factory. 30 years have passed. In the year of 2004, the company was affected by the government's resettlement programme. Thus had to shift to Bedok North, the Gourmet East Kitchen to continue their business.


Hwa Bao International Pte Ltd
Conducted a study on the competitive advantage of the China company in Fu Jian. Through this study, Hua Bao wish to obtain rights to represent the principal in Singapore.

Hua Bao is a small local SMEs started its business two years ago.
 

Singzo International Business Pte Ltd
Provided the following services to Singzo: 

• Conducted a one-day seminar on Real Estate Management in Singapore  together with Chan Kong Hong Property Consultants at Zheng Zhou, China.
• Processed the entry pass application for their MD
• Translated Singzo web site into English

Singapore Reading Club Association
Assisted the Association in organising a study mission to Taiwan for 80 school children. There were about 6,000 reading clubs in Taiwan. We shared our experiences in managing the clubs.


Bukit Batok Reading Club
Facilitated one reading activity for the club. The book facilitated is “Present” by Spencer Johnson, the author of “Who moved my cheese”.

Singapore Sports Council
Designed a Training programme on Tapping Employee Ideas. The objectives are to equip participants with better understanding of what is a staff suggestion scheme and their roles in managing and promoting it.

Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd
Conducted talk on " Staff Suggestion Scheme and You" for all employees. The participants learnt about the 10 basic elements of an effective staff suggestion scheme, understood the key factors of success in managing a staff suggestion scheme, how to review the state of staff suggestion scheme and developed an action plan to enhance the scheme.

Asssab Steels Singapore Pte Ltd
Evaluated six QC projects by using the National QC evaluation criteria which included QC frame work, project selection, analysis techniques, innovative action and implementation, value creation, results achieved, standardization, review and continuous improvement and presentation techniques.


Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd
Conducted a half day seminar on Enhancing your Staff Suggestion Scheme at Shell Away day. The seminar include suggestion scheme commitment, implementation and follow-up.


Eutech Instrument Pte Ltd
Audited their Staff Suggestion scheme by using the 10 SSS key elements : organisation, evaluation, procedures, results, rewards, recognition, incentive, promotion, training and documentation.


TIJ Consultants SDN BHD
Conducted a one day training programme on safety@work at Malaysia. Participants learnt the basic causes of accidents, how to use 4-step method to accident prevention, how to set up inspection checklist and achieve safety@work.
