Shopping: Around 2 hours drive, you will reach a factory outlet located San Francisco. Branded goods at discount prices. You will pass by when you go for a 17-mile Scenic Tour.

The best place to seek directions to the places you are going to, is San Francisco Visitor Information Center, located at Powell and Market Street. Or you might want to visit them online

If you are thinking of car rental, you might want to take their expensive parking fees and limited parking lots in their city into considerations. But a car might come in handy when you want to go for a 17-mile scenic drive or anywhere outside San Francisco (eg: Yosemite Park, Napa Valley etc).
