Some viewing problems

If you cannot read Chinese characters in your browser using downloaded fonts as out-lined in Method 1, most probably you have the following problems- :

1. Your font setting is wrong( i.e., the document is in GB and you are using BIG5)
2. Your Encoding setting is wrong
3. The browser requires you to alter a Registry setting,you have not done so
4. The original document has HTML interfering with the decoding process.You cannot do anything here.If you want you can download the document and try to remove some interfering HTML tags.Normally,these are found in the <META > tag . For example,if the <META > tag contains "charset=gb_2312-80",the decoding process will fail.Just change this,on the saved document,to "charset=gb_2312" should solve the viewing problem.
5. Before doing anything,try and REFRESH the page to see if this helps
6. Sometimes changing the Encoding to UTF and back again to Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese may solve the problem.
7. If all else fail, you may have to use METHOD 2 as suggested here.
