To meet the needs of our predominantly Western-based environment, we have specifically appointed Hu Qian
from Chengdu, China, who is well versed in both Chinese and Western field of Medicine,
as our anchor Physician.
HU QIAN
Physician Hu Qian graduated from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987.
Prior to coming to Singapore, he was the Associate Professor of Chengdu Hospital of Integrated
Traditional & Western Medicine. Equiped with a dual integrative TCM & Western Medicine practicing
license in Mainland China, Hu Qian has accumulated over twenty years of clinical experience and
medical research, and has established his reputable expertise in the fields of Oncology,
Haematology, and Rheumatism. Besides his clinical work, his credentials also include:
- Part time Associate Professor at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Sichuan Chengdu Medical Malpractice Appraisal Committee
- Examiner for the Certification of Clinical Practice Physician
- Member of the Chinese Medical Professionals Committee
- Member of the Chengdu Integrated Traditional & Western Medicine Medical Professionals Committee
As part of his medical research, Physician Hu Qian has also written over ten academic thesis which
have been published in highly acclaimed medical journals in China, including "Journal of Emergency
in Traditional Chinese Medicine", "The Modern Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine Press" and
"Sichuan Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine", just to name a few.
Hu Qian's collaborative research project with his team of Doctors has also help him bagged the third prize
for the 2005 Chengdu People's Government Technological advancement Award. Recognized his efforts in helping
to modernize TCM, the Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional & Western Medicine (where he was working)
presented him with both the First Prize for the Most Outstanding Diagnosis Award and the Most Outstanding Treatment Award.
