Dear Brother and Sister in christ,
Yes, this is a decisive hour for the Singapore Church. We will start the New
Year right. Though the new millennium does actually begin until January 1st
2001, millions of people around the world will still be celebrating this
premature countdown in all sorts of goofy, giddy ways. Most of the world
will be eating, drinking, and making merry. In Singapore, half a million people
are expected to dance their night away in Orchard Road and Suntec City. But
God's people in Singapore will go by the opposite spirit. We will usher in the New
Year with a defining difference: a refined passion for His Glory!. Yes, make
Prayer Wave Asia on January First 2000 a priority. They will at 0001 hr at
St Andrew's Cathedral. In worship, we will lift Jesus higher! In Word, we will
delcare His purposes. In Warfare, we will contend for a born-again
Singapore. We will take a united stand for Asia' healing and deliverance. "Let My
People GO!"
Some of you may still be away at your church watchnight service at
PrayerWave
Asia's starting time-0001 hr. No worry. Just remember that PrayerWave Asia
runs for 7 hours. So, you are very welcome to join us after your service.
Unintimidated by what Y2k chaos may be confronting us, God's people will
look to His sovereign grace to preserve us as a nation. The focus is simple.
Renew your convenant relationship with God. Affirm His protective Love. Pray
through the entire Psalm 91.
As we watch through the first 7 hours of January First 2000, may that indeed
become the dawning of a new and glorious morn for all the peoples of Asia.
Expect Majestic Worship! Glorious Praise Praise! Strong Declaration of the
Word! Fervent Prayers! Experience hope. Not hype.
See You There...
God Bless
