The SAGE Games Server is a local dial up server where users dial into the server directly to play network games using the software kali. The SAGE Games Server acts like a mini Internet Service Provider with its own Kali server. The only difference is SAGE is purely a local server, not connected to the internet. SAGE till now have a total of 8 dial up lines. The benefit of playing network games on SAGE over the internet is lower latency, and maximum throughput over your 33.6 modem connection. Another important factor is no need to pay internet charges as you play, just your normal phone line charges.
The SAGE Games Server is setup to give all gamers a place where they can gather to play their favourite network games together, and to date, we have played quite a few large network games, like 8 player X-Wing vs Tie Fighters. Other games include Red Alert, EF2000, Netduel, and many many more.
To have an account on the server, just send me an email, telling me more about yourself, most importantly, your full name, and how active you would be on the server. An account will be created for you and you will be able to log in. All this is absolutely free of charge.
Other than that, the SAGE Games Server also tries to promote the most wonderful software, Kali, that brings network games possible on the internet. The cost of each registration is S$25 each. You can send me a check to :
