Am I content
Just to trust His Word,
That His grace can my needs fulfill?
And to cease to seek
Of a Tempting world,
All the riches it could reveal?
Am I content
With the things I have,
Which the Lord has bestowed on me?
With my life and home,
Raiment, food and health
And salvation, so full and so free?
Am I content
With my Lord beside,
Who will never forsake my soul?
With His caring love
Am I satisfied?
Do I need something else to be whole?
I am content,
I am content!
The Lord is all that I need!
He abides with me
And provides for me;
I am content, indeed!
