The Forces of the Enemy
Increase on every side.
They preach religious unity
but push the Truth aside.
Disguised with 'tongues' and wondrous signs
And words of love and peace,
They prey on hearts and souls and minds
To gain them for the Beast!
A One-world church will soon be formed
Which is no Church at all:
We cannot to their ranks, conform
Nor ever heed their call.
We must hold fast the Truth of God
And have discerning eyes
To know how we may please our Lord
And fight the Devil's lies!
Maintain the precious Truth of God,
Defend each small detail.
Though many men corrupt the Word
His Message must prevail!
If we are tried and cast away
For this tenacious stand,
We cannot, must not fall away
But keep our Lord's Command.
How many men do fall away
And flee to Satan's side!
How many once withstood his sway
Do now with him abide.
Yet we are not alone at all
Against this awesome foe:
We will not fall, though we are small
For God's with us, below!
Then let our hearts and minds be bold
To falsehood apprehend;
The Fundamental truths uphold
And all God's Word, defend!
Let pray'r and study make us wise
With wisdom from above
That we may never compromise,
But speak the Truth in love!
