Well, so what do I enjoy doing when I'm free?

Music Links

Basically, I like most chinese songs, so my radio's perpetually tuned to FM 93.3. On top of that, I like most English sentimental hits, and instrumentals, especially piano. I usually play one of my favourite piano CDs while working on my computer.

Also play the guitar in my spare time, though I only know some basic chords like C, Em, Am, etc. Nothing much to boast of, but I do agree it's really great to sing and strum with someone who appreciates the same music as I do. Especially music like most, if not all, of the earlier XINYAO pieces, like Eric Moo's XIE HOU and NI DE DAO YING (I forgot who sang this one). U must email me if you also love XINYAO!

Driving/Motoring Links

I got my driving license in November 1995, and haven't looked back since. I really love driving, and my dream is to go on a driving-holiday along the coast of Australia!

My favourite car? Well, of coz, it's the Merc SLK. So common? You might ask. Yah, seriously, I find Porches and Ferraris absolutely ugly, simply too flat for my liking. I would one day, like to own a Lexus GS300, but I guess the most practical one would still be a Toyota Corolla or Corona. A Camry would be nicer still!

My favourite car used to be the Accord, but it has since lost its appeal. I guess it's getting too big for its own good shoes.

Photography Links

Took up photography since my JC days, when I was in Hwa Chong's Photographic Society.

I'm still playing around with cameras now, being in my hall's photography team. We really do need photographers, so should you want to get a place in NTU Hall 11, drop me a mail!

I own a Canon EOS 100 now, and it's been with me for 5 years now. Still in perfect working condition!

Love working with slides, because of their concentration of colours, but development into prints is really costly, and exposure is tricky, so I haven't been taking too many slides recently.

Besides all these, I also enjoy reading. My favourite author is John Grisham, and I like the The Rainmaker most! I guess the movie version of this book isn't doing the book justice. Grisham's writing in this book was most witty, and it started me on his other books.

I enjoy sitting by the beach, letting the wind blow, and watching the waves hit. If you haven't realised, chatting by the sea (and watching sun-rise) is one luxury we city-goers can ill-afford, but it's really soothing. And to let you in on a secret - Changi Beach, near the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, is one good place to watch sunrise from! You could drive right up to the waves, but of coz, that one and only entrance isn't obvious - you've got to hunt for it!

And not to mention, of course, working on the computer, which is my favourite pastime, otherwise I wouldn't have brought this webpage to you.
