Basically anything to do with
computing.
I lead
a very simple life, going to school/work as I would and thereafter I will just
go home straight to my wonderful “wife” (computer), I always have a growing
interest for computers, it’s strange! But could be due to the
fact that I have been playing with computer since the age of 3.
I think
life have been pretty fair for me, I have never been a good student, did badly
for my PSLE, O Levels, ended up getting posted in ITE Tampines which everyone
call “It’s The End”. Lots of people look down on me ever since, my relatives,
some of my friends too but I strive on! Holding on to a belief that I will do
well in ITE.
Since I had around 6 months before going to ITE Tampines, I work
in my school as a computer technician, enjoyed the job a lot since I’m working
with my close friend as well. It was a real challenge at that time as I had to
do video editing for my school speech day as well. But the result was good,
after seeing the finished product I was kind of proud of myself.
Time
flew… in no time I was in ITE, at first I thought I wouldn’t like it at all but
I was wrong. I enjoyed my time in ITE and I joined Student Council CCA where I
made a lot of friends, organized a lot of major event in and out of school and
I felt very good after all the event was very successful. All I can say is that
ITE life is really wonderful!
My
whole ITE course is only 2 years, I did quite well for all the exams too, got
merit bursary for both my year 1 end exam and year 2 end exams which means I’m
the top 15% best results student(or was it 20%) of all the ITE in Singapore. That
really made my parents and me very happy because it’s the first time I got good
results in my whole life!
After
finishing ITE, I was trying really hard to look for a job since I was waiting
for enlistment to National Service, my cousin recommend me to work in Guardian
Pharmacy as a part-timer. Work around 8 months before I resigned since I’m
enlisting in 21st April, it was a very good job experience since it’s in the
sales line, learn a lot about medicine too!
