Grand Canyon North Rim is a place for those who enjoy a road less traveled. The North Rim or "the other side" of the Grand Canyon is visited by only 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors. It was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1953. This theme park has 35 rides and a water park. In addition there is live entertainment, shops, games and food. Housing is a historic Spanish design apartment building built in 1911 and is conveniently located across the street from the beach, and about 5 minute walk away to work at the Boardwalk. The housing rental is US$60 per week with a refundable deposit of US$120 required. At the end of your stay, a US$10 will be deducted from your deposit for cleaning supplies.
WHAT TO DO AT SANTA CRUZ
The accommodation will be centrally located in Santa Cruz which is a 10 minute walk to the downtown, movie theatres, coffee shops, dance clubs, grocery stores and laundry facilities. By car, San Francisco is about 2 hours away.

Presently, Yellowstone is looking for Hospitality Crew for their hotels, restaurants and laundry facilities.
There is an orientation program that gives guidance to special rules within Yellowstone. Once the employee arrives at their location for the summer, there is safety training and general job training that occurs for 3-5 days. This training is provided on site. Students will be paid during those days for training as well.
WORK HOURS / WAGES
Wages will be determined by the position offered. The base wage for entry-level jobs is US$6.15 per hour. Salary will be paid out bi-monthly basis. Employees typically work 32-48 hours per week, but hours may vary depending on staffing needs and business levels. Hours are not guaranteed. Meeting the needs of our guests may require you to work morning and/or evening shifts, and split shifts are available.

LIVING ENVIRONMENT
There are 8 different places to live and work within Yellowstone. Accommodation is dormitory-style residences with one or more roommates. Bathroom facilities may be attached to your room or located down the hall. Getting to work is an easy walk, not a hectic commute. Three meals a day (all you can eat) are served in the Employee Dining Room. Housing, meals, utilities and laundry facilities are provided for you with a payroll deduction is based on hours worked, and will not exceed US$100 per week, before applicable sales tax. WHAT TO DO AT YELLOWSTONE
Hiking or backpacking over more than 1100 miles of trails; photographing a blazing sunset or a herd of grazing bison; sitting quietly beside a mountain stream. From the physically exhaustive to the quietly reflective, the world of Yellowstone offers many worlds to explore. It is yours to decide. A recreation program offers added opportunities for play with activities such as basketball, softball, disc golf, weight lifting, aerobics, movies, dances, slide shows, dance lessons, and guided interpretive hikes. A caution to those of you with urban tastes: It is many miles to the nearest shopping mall! Exploring new territory means new activities and new ways to have fun! Some activities and the rental of hiking and camping equipment require a minimal fee.
