All of us want to look
good on our wedding day, don't we? =)
With that notion, we went
around searching high and low for THE bridal boutique, which will make us look
good!
Budget, style, service and the attractiveness of the bridal gown/suit packages naturally comes to most of the couples' mind and I guess we were no different...
We always thought that choosing and looking for a bridal shop would be a fun thing to do but it wasn't all that easy!
We were shocked and probably angry when we first stepped into a bridal exhibition held in one of the shopping mall. The people from the bridal shops were almost like leeches! Yes, they sticked to you literally...
Once we stepped into the exhibition, a BIG mistake was instantly committed! They refused to budge even when you told them you are not interested and are just looking around. They will push brochures to you, stand in front of you and keep talking to you. Some even dragged you to their nearby booth to get a chance to speak to you!
What really caught us by surprise was when both of us kept saying "NO! NO! We do not want to talk!" .... they still persisted and kept harassing us! It was a really awful experience!!! After that incident, both of us decided that we will not go to such exhibition anymore....it was plain ridiculous! Imagine...a sales person, whom we encountered when we first stepped into the exhibition area, standing by the escalator waving good-bye to us as we departed the exhibition area at the other end of the hall...?????!!!!???
Thankfully, our friends recommended us to attend bridal fashion shows instead and I must say it was definitely more appealing and interesting. We went for a couple of bridal fashion shows and we were rather impressed with the works of several designer. However, I have left the decision to Yin because I felt that she is the most important person on that day (other than myself of course!) and I would want her to be satisfied with her once in a lifetime gown. She likes a particular designer and particularly the style of his gowns and since she can communicate with him very well too, we decided to engage him to deliver our wedding attire. We really like our attire and we hope you will find it nice and appealing too!
