But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the House of God, which is the Church of the Living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Timothy 3:15

Stulos Web Pages

Welcome to Stulos web pages. The Greek word stulos means pillar. The Church is described in 1 Timothy 3:15 as the pillar and the ground of the truth. The pillar would speak of the declaration of the truth while the ground would be the defence of the truth. These web pages were created by Sok Yee and Yee Cheong (SyeeC), with a purpose for the declaration of the truths contained in the Holy Bible. We would like to dedicate these web pages to the furtherance of the Gospel, the promotion of Christian Literature (with Assembly distinctives) and the encouragement of God's people.

We have created a blog to share outlines and lists from the Holy Bible (Scripture) which we enjoy and find helpful. Many of these outlines and lists are taken from books or jotted down from talks. Some are authored by myself and many others are so commonly used that it is quite impossible to trace the original authors. As far as possible, we will try to acknowledge the source. Most of these outlines and lists have some kind of alliteration. Please visit http://scriptureoutlines.blogspot.com.

Our Assembly

We were sinners saved by the grace of God through believing in His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as our personal Lord and Saviour. As born-again Christians, we gather with like-minded believers in a small Christian assembly. We are firm believers of the New Testament Church principles and we appreciate fellowship of believers with similar convictions from other parts of the world.

Our assembly meets at Joo Chiat Gospel Hall, in Singapore (http://www.visitsingapore.com), for Worship, Prayers, Bible Reading and Ministry. The believers break bread every Sunday at 8:30am. The Prayer and Bible Reading Meeting is on every Wednesday at 7:45pm. The Gospel Meeting is on every first and third Sunday of the month at 6:00pm. Please take note that there are two assemblies using Joo Chiat Gospel Hall. The Mandarin-speaking assembly is the owner of the building. They have kindly allowed us the English-speaking assembly (Adelphia Joo Chiat Gospel Hall) to use the premises.

If you are visiting Singapore and would like to meet with us, we appreciate it, if you could bring a letter of commendation from your local assembly. Head covering for sisters is practised in our assembly for the glory of God.

Email if you need further assistance.
