Technical Analysts Association, Technical Analysts Society of Singapore and the International Federation
of Technical Analysts.
Synopsis of talk:
Market outlook in 2008, plus development of the China market and its impact on regional markets
Here is an opportunity to participate in a CNBC Squawk Box style discussion
where you get to ask the questions. Guppy will start with an overview of
regional markets using the same analysis techniques he uses on Squawk Box.
The difference is that you have the opportunity to ask more detailed
questions.
He will also examine the outlook and development of the China market and
its impact on regional markets. Is 2008 the end of the Hong Kong success
story, or will the impact of the China QDII program simply arbitrage
pricing? How will QDII effect the activity of China associated counters in
Singapore? Guppy is one of the few foreigners who provides China A share
market analysis for Chinese traders and investors. With Beijing partners,
he produces a weekly trade advisory for mainland traders. He is very
familiar with this market and a regular columnist in several Chinese
financial publications.
This is an opportunity to see how chart analysis is combined with technical
analysis to identify the most appropriate type of trading solution.
This presentation, arranged by our Stocks and Shares Interest Group Chairman Mr Ng Chee Seng, is jointly
organised by the Technical Analysts Society of Singapore (TASS), and SMS.
