Biodate of Presenter: Christopher Lee, Managing Director
Christopher Lee spent 8 years in IBM Singapore and he has held
positions in sales, corporate account management, business development and
training. He was the Country Manager, for IBM Singapore Public Sector prior
to his departure to join ShareInvestor. In that capacity, he was responsible
for sales and corporate account management for the Government, Education,
Defence and Healthcare divisions.
As a business development manager, Chris was responsible for
developing the health care strategies for IBM ASEAN/SA. He was instrumental
in developing the channels to drive IBM health care business in Singapore,
Malaysia and Thailand.
Chris joined ShareInvestor as Chief Technology Officer in 2000 and was
promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2001. He was appointed Executive
Director and a Board member in 2002. He was appointed Managing Director in
October 2003.
Chris is an electrical engineer by training, having obtained his
degree (2nd Class Upper) from National University of Singapore. He obtained
his Master of Business Administrations, specializing in Management of
Information Technology from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
in 1997. As part of his executive training in IBM, he completed his Client
Executive Program in Harvard Business School in 1998. He is a Committee
Member of the Infocomm Specialist Development Progamme, Technical Committee
at Nanyang Polytechnic.
