Treasures form the Dragon Palace is a traditional puppetry of a Chinese classical legend. Adapted from Journey to the West - one of the most beloved and enduring legendary classics of Chinese literature - Treasures from he Dragon Palace is a dramatic portrayal of how Sun Wukong the Monkey God unwittingly offends the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea, and brings upon himself the wrath of the Jade Emperor and His Heavenly Army.

This old grace, festivity and grandeur of a traditional folk-art was recreated behind the historical doors of the Thian Hock Keng Temple ~ founded in 1842 ~ now one of Singapore's national monuments.
