Eastpoint is one of the scheme of the  suburban shopping  being developed  around MRT stations.  However, in contrast  to the typical anonymous dumb box,  Eastpoint is conceived as an  open and  festive box. The complex is arranged to relate and create different situations in relation  to the   MRT station,  HDB flats, bus-stop etc on the different sides.

Overall ,   playful  and  contrasting

mixtures of colour and glass, solid

and perforated  aluminium  panels

are placed  in relation  to  building

programme and site situation.
