MarinePrice is a computer software designed for the purpose of assisting anyone having trouble estimating on cost of repairs in the marine field.

It is a useful computer program for Marine Surveyors and Marine Superintendents working in Singapore.  For overseas Marine Superintendents who just arrive Singapore on work assignments, the software will prove especially useful as it gives the contacts of many well established repair contractors.  

It is a user-friendly software that does not require instruction manuals to teach its users how to use it.  Simple "How To" instructions are given at the top of the Main Menu once passwords authentification have been verified.

The database provides access to:

1) Yards' tariff in Singapore for ship repair.

2) Steel repairs done at Singapore yards in term of S$/kg.

3) Cost of engine repairs and major engine parts.

4) Cost of turbocharger repairs and major turbocharger parts.

5) Cost of deck crane repairs and major crane parts.

6) Cost of auxiliary repairs and major parts such as anchors, davits, etc.

7) Labour rates of some of the well established companies in Singapore.

8) Rates for set of tug/crane barge and tug/deck cargo barge.

9) Bunker prices in Singapore.

10) Contacts of repairers for different types of repairs.

11) Charter rates - tanker, container ship, bulk carrier, etc.

12) PSA Pilotage fee is higher than expected. Do you know why?

13) Underwriters are aware that insurance paid repairs cost more.
