Ventz was officially formed in Dec 1999. Our team manager Munnn, went about sticking recruitment notices at supermarkets, on websites and through mass emailing. Many of us tickled and excited by the prospect of playing our favourite game replied his notices. So on one sunny Sunday afternoon, at the pitch at Hougang, 13 strangers gathered to form Ventz. However, it was a start of players coming and going as a result Ventz went through its leanest dry, getting wallop spell in its short history.

Ventz got its name after we decided that we needed an identity and all voted for this name. Also our captain was nominated and Robert got the most votes as he is the most vocal on the pitch most of the times screaming at us to get our act together.

Only a few founding players were left after Ventz celebrated its 1st anniversary. The most recent player to leave Ventz was Aaron, a versatile player whom has an eye for goals. We wish him well in his career overseas.

With the success of the afternoon team, Ventz officially formed another morning team to cater for new players interested in joining us. There were new inclusions in the original Ventz team too. Though sadly we are still short of defenders.
