The Map of Narbonne on this page, was the work of Nicolas Tassin and came from the Second Book of his very scarce work ''Les Plans et Profiles de Toutes les Principales Villes et Lieux Considerables de France..........'' Published in Paris 1638.

Note that the orientation of the map is not the same as in most modern atlases. The fleur-de-lis image on the compass at the top of the picture, is pointing roughly North.
