Whose song have the CARPENTERS covered?

When I was younger then, I've always like many songs but just doesn't seem to know their titles. That was when I heard the song "The End of the World" on radio, a really sad but melodious song. I love it till today mainly because of the beautiful lyrics, music and the voice of the singer. I was then searching high and low for this singer until I saw Karen singing this song on TV. For a moment I thought she was the original artiste but not quite true. The original song was performed by Skeeter Davis when I first heard it. But what do I know Karen sing just as good as Skeeter Davis.

Since then, I'm always curious to find out what other songs have the CARPENTERS performed that the other artistes have covered. Below are the list that I've gathered.

And of course I wouldn't be able to come up with this comprehensive list if not for the kind assistance from these wonderful Newvillers:
  1. Mr. Masaru "Rocky" Kurita, Japan. - Close To You Home page
  2. Mr. Mogens Veng, Denmark - A Tribute To Karen Carpenter
  3. Mr. Joseph Bine, USA
And a Carpenter fan :
  1. Mr. Norberto Fernandez, Cuba
Thanks to them as well as those who had emailed me for their contributions.
