Horizon

"Horizon" differed from the preceeding albums mostly by virtue of its production.

Horizon CD Cover "For Karen and me 1974 was devoted to world-wide touring. The only recording done by us that year was "Please Mr. Postman", which was released in October. "Horizon" differed from the preceeding albums mostly by virtue of its production. By this time A&M Studios had 24 track recording (The "Ticket to ride" album was recorded on 8 tracks and the subsequent 4 albums on 16 tracks). The additional tracks allowed us to record the acoustic piano, drums ect. in stereo. I'm particularly fond of "I Can Dream Can't I" which features a beautiful arrangement by veteran Billy May, done in authentic 40's style."

After long enough for being alone,
everyone must face their share of loneliness.
In my own time nobody knew
the pain I was going through.
Waiting was all my heart could do.

Hope was all I had until you came,
maybe you can see how much you mean to me.
You were the dawn breaking the night,
the promise of morning light
filling the world surrounding me.
