The London Symphonic Orchestra
Plays the Music of The Carpenters

It reflected the wonderful songs that the Carpenters had once conjured with those melodious notes.

CD Cover "It was difficult initially when I started listening to this album. The absence of Karen's vocal in the symphonic tracks made it hard for me to associate them to the Carpenters. It just proves that Karen's vocal just can't do without and the tracks sounded "empty" to me. I knew then I couldn't do without Karen's singing and that no one would be able to be in the position to sing as she did. A sad reminder that she has passed away.

After a few listening, I began to appreciate the plain tunes of the symphonic tracks. It did in fact afterall reflected the wonderful songs that the Carpenters had once conjured with those melodious notes. The tracks alone are just as soothing and beautiful with the symphonic arrangement in this special CD. I learnt then that the Carpenters' music would definitely lasts and be appreciated by many even after Karen has left us."
