construction as the author is currently occupied.

Cactus Pads can be dished on the table and rather tasty if you don't mind the
slippery taste like Okra (lady's fingers). However, this is restricted
to Opuntia species as other species may be toxic.
Two portions of the Opuntia species can be eaten, the pads (also known
as Nopalitos) and the prickly pear (known as Tuna). The pads are
the vegetable whereas the prickly pear is fruit. Some Opuntia species have
less spines than others. which make it easier to prepare and some contains less
mucilage, making them more favourable. Generally, young Opuntia pads will
contain less mucilage.
