What are Cacti?
They belong to a larger group of plants call Succulents and all succulents have
a specialized anatomy that enables them to survive drought or lack of light.

Do Cactus need less Care?
Cactus are strong plants that require little attention. However, if forgotten,
they will retreat into dormancy. Well care for plants will ensure that they grow
well and flowers. The joy to see cactus flowers is difficult to express here to
you.

How to tell whether the Cactus is not growing well?
The appearance reveals a great deal of the plant. Under the following conditions,
the plant may require repot.
- Overall appearance look tired and have dull stem skin.
- Spines are unevenly distributed and damaged.
- Soft, weak and broken spines.
- Deformation and pale looking.

When do they Flowers?
Almost all Cactus will flower. However the flowering cycle differs from one Cactus
to another. Some may flower when expose to sun after a long period in room environment.
Some by sudden supply of water after a long period of dry environment which stimulate
its flowering cycle. Besides, temperature change (+/- 10°C) is important to
trigger the flowering process in most cases. Usually tiny(depends on the cactus
type) seedlings may be found after the flower dried up and the purpose of flower
is to give birth to new life.
