Method 1: Scroll to "MissedCall"; press "Yes"; press & hold ">" Method 2: Scroll to "Read"; see "No Messages"; press & hold "<" Method 3: Save a phone number in the phone memory (not SIM); see "Stored"; press & hold "<" (see my Tips page if you don't know how to save to phone memory.)	Menu Size option - you can extend your phone's menu to include a few more options like Customise, Edit Phone Book, etc... Note that Set Alarm does not work. Customise allows you to rearrange the sequence of the menus & to reset your phone. DO NOT RESET your phone here!!! It will mess up your menu & you'll have to rearrange your menus again. When you want back the original menus, go back to Menu Size & reduce it.	GA628 & also reported to work for GF/PF768 Try Method 3 if Methods 1 & 2 fails. Read the details here!

I receive a lot of emails everyday about Edit Melody in GA628. I do not know of any codes to do that. Please do not email me regarding this, unless you know the code & wish to share with us.

I also receive a lot of emails about codes for GF/PF768/788. I do not know of any codes for these phones other than those listed above. Please do not email me regarding this, unless you know the code(s) & wish to share with us.

There are also emails about unlocking phones which are locked to a network. I cannot help because I do not know the unlock codes. Only the GSM service provider who locked the phone knows the unlock codes. Those whose phones are SIM locked can also look for your GSM service provider who will usually charge you a sum of money to unlock your phone. Any other means of unlocking your phone will most probably be illegal. Please be careful & ask around!

[For Method 1] Menu Size code doesn't work (reported by Italo & many others)- From my own experiments, this code seems to work only when your MissedCall list is empty.

[For Method 2] Instead of going to MissedCall menu, go to Read menu & press "Yes". When you see No Messages (you must not have any stored message for this to work) press & hold "<". Look for the Menu Size option & press "Yes". Hope this works! Thanks to Italo for the code!

[For Method 3] I have received a piece of wonderful news that many people have been waiting for! There is another way to activate Menu Size for the software versions mentioned above. Save a phone number in the phone memory (not SIM). When you see "Stored", press & hold "<". Look for the Menu Size option & press "Yes". See my Tips page if you don't know how to save to phone memory. Please try it out & email me the result. Thanks to Sasa from Yugoslavia for the code!

For some people the Menu Size code(s) doesn't work! After reading some forum webpages, I found that GA628/GF768 phones with later (newer) software versions are the cause of this problem.

GA628/GF768 software version(s) that does not support the Menu Size code(s): -

9801141553 (Method 2 reported to work for some but some reported not working)
9805191133 (reported by Akos, Erik & many others, but Method 3 reported to work)
9808121657 (reported by Alex & Nelson)
9809111236 (reported by Joao & Alex)

Basically all later software versions may not support Menu Size code(s).

Some people have told me that the Menu Size option does not go away even after they have reduced their menu size. Why would you want to get rid of it, when you wanted to have it in the first place? It doesn't disrupt the other functions of the phone, so just leave it there. And DO NOT RESET the phone just to get it away. YOU WILL LOSE ALL OTHER MENUS! You have been warned.
