Who am I anyway? Well, I'm a nice guy on the whole, but I do get my bad days. You'll learn more about me as you read through my
pages.
It was in 1978, I was born in Sarikei, a small town in Sarawak. I lived there for about 16 years most of the time. Most of the times means that I did move around in Sarawak.
I studied in SRB Methodist-Anglo Chinese (primary education) for 6 years, 3 years in SMK Bandar Sarikei (lower secondary),
and 2 years in SMB St. Anthony (upper secondary). Then I came to Singapore to study in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
I graduated with a Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Not a great achievement, I'd like to say.
I lived in semi-detached housing for all those times, until I came to Singapore. I lived with my aunt in Bukit Batok for a while,
then I moved out, rented a room in Upper Bukit Timah Road. It was a pig sty. Now I live in the top storey of a HDB flat in Clementi.
A little bit better.
If you like to know, I speak a few languages, namely English, Malay, Mandarin, some Chinese dialects, Foochow,
Hokkien, Teochew, a little Cantonese. I hope to learn another language. If I do I'll write this page in the new language I learned.
Spanish anyone?
But I'll tell you this - I can't read Chinese characters. I had no interest when I was young, and I have none now.
Too bad, I know my parents would like me to know the language better.
I am a Malaysian, and I also have Singapore PR status. It was pretty easy to get, but a lot of procedures to be done.
You will see more of my contradicting sentences as you read more in my pages.
