Have you ever met people? I am sure that you have, and I hope you cherish the people that you meet. I do cherish people I meet, but stay away from others too.

I have known quite a number of people from the journey of life, not that I have had a long and interesting life, but I did go places, as you can see. But I'll concentrate on the people in Singapore.

I guess I'll save the part before I came to Singapore (if you are interested tell me), and jump right to when I am in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Well, who can there be in a studying institution? The lecturers, the canteen operators, the laboratory assistants, and most important of all, my fellow classmates. Happily, we are still in touch.

You are not wrong if you say I had a great time with them. But not all the time. I was quite active in ECA, and it took up a lot of my time (which I could have used for my studies). I had great responsibility, and so many things to oversee.

It was from the ECA that I learned the ugly side of human beings, what a small group will do when they think they are always right. The backstabbing, criticism, double-faced people, and puppet masters.

I was the President of that particular ECA, and I fended off all of them, so there were some dissatisfied people around. It was not a good time then. Before I was in a management position, we were all friends, I guess they did not understand that things should not go their way just because their friend has the last say.

Too bad for that episode, but I have accuired some skills I need, especially dealing with people and money matters. I always look on the bright side of things, and forget the rest.

I guess this section turned out to be one for me to vent my frustration and disappointment I have faced all those time. I sometimes still feel bitter it had to be that way.
